A Series of Firsts!

The last month has been marked by some neat little accomplishments. Kai turned 7 months and has begun to read...actually he just eats books. Jesse turned 5, got his first car, started Pre-K, and has already been to the principals office...something to do with his mohawk and tatooes. Jake scored his first touchdown, his first two-point conversion, and a lot of great tackles...all with humility, seriously, not a joke this time. Julian is just awesome in general, and truly the only kid who could put up with all of us, with so much grace and patience...a big accomplishment. Theresa and I...we just hope to survive another day, but love every minute of it!

Inside Kai's mind right now: I have to play down my excitement,
but starting today, I get mom all to myself.

I'm 5 and I'm feeling good on my first day of school.
